On Nov. 5, 2018, Renaissance was on hand for the grand opening of a new Santander Bank branch at 136-11 Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing, Queens. Jennifer Sun, co-executive director of Asian Americans for Equality (Renaissance’s parent organization), accepted a generous $50,000 check from Santander. The funds will be used to support our technical assistance programs for small business owners in the community. The bank awarded Renaissance a total of $150,000 over a three-year period.
