Renaissance recently launched an advisory committee that aims to improve our outreach to small businesses in Latinx communities. The committee’s four members include two women, Miriam Colon, Acting Director of the Brooklyn Small Business Development Center at the NYC College of Technology, a prior business owner herself who now uses her experience to counsel business owners at every stage of the business cycle, and Jenniffer Moreno, Small Business Advisor at Santander Bank, who has over 12 years of experience working directly with small business owners. With their support, Renaissance will continue to identify new ways to increase our footprint in Latinx neighborhoods and better serve Latinx entrepreneurs with culturally-sensitive counseling, training, and small business loans.
